About the company
Aula means “the place people come together”. That’s exactly what Aula is about: bringing students, staff, and faculty together in a digital environment that encourages interaction and collaboration.
Their team comes from all corners of the world, brought together by their mission to make engaging teaching and learning the norm.
🖥 Coding-related question
If your application goes through, then the first step will be a coding question, most likely algorithmic in nature. It is expected to be completed in 30 minutes.
⛰ Coding challenge
Next up you will be given a take-home coding challenge, of course within the comfort of your home and whenever you find yourself ready for it. It should take around one and a half hours to complete.
🎥 Video call
With the completion of your coding challenge, you will then have a video conference with someone from the team. This is the time to go over to the values Aula has, as well as ask questions about the team.
🌄 Part two of coding challenge
The coding challenge you initially tackle will continue for an additional 4 hours after the video call. They will probably ask you to continue to work with what you have and complete some extra tacks of features with it. Again, you can choose when you're feeling the best to do these extra tickets.
🎥 Wrap up call
When the four hours are up, and you feel satisfied with your solutions, another video call will ensue. This time you will get to meet more team members, or future coworkers. These engineers with walk through what you did through the coding challenge, seeing how you tackle problems and giving you a taste of how Aula keeps their codebases.
