Baremetrics has a four-step interview process that is tailored to mesh well with their fully remote DNA.
For all their job postings, Baremetrics has a corresponding set of application questions. They serve as a more equitable and sane replacement for the resume, filtering on values and data that is more relevant and targeted, instead.

❓ Follow-up questions
If your initial application seems like it is a good fit for the job, then Baremetrics will follow up with some additional questions to drill in deeper about working remotely and the position at hand. These are done over email.
- What is your experience with working remotely?
- What is your current job like?
- What kind of projects are you working on at your current company?
📹 Video chat
After the follow-up questions, Baremetrics will set up a brief videocall with you, so you can meet part of the team in-virtual-person. It is pretty informal, and only 5-10 minutes.
🧪 Test project
Lastly, there is a test project, which varies of course based on the job applied for. It aims to be only a couple hours of work and is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your ability to problem solve, live up to set deadlines, and easily respond to any criticisms.
