L code-review

Code reviews are in-depth critical discussions about code. For companies that have take-home projects, there may be an element where the candidate will walk go through a collaborative code review of the code with an engineer in the hiring company either at a later onsite or in a video call. A code review can also be for code the candidate did not write - where the candidate is asked to provide some critical feedback about the implementation of a particlar peice of code, whether it is a review of a more academic algorithm solution or a real changeset for a project. The candidate may also be asked to implement the refactored changes.
